Image deletion

Hi, you recently deleted my uploaded image per COM:WEBHOST, but I do not see how that is a violation because it’s just my personal photo for self identification, used only on my user page, and not a promotional content or advertisement of some sort. Yann: The global contribs show the dedication and contributions of this user and the file was used on user pages across multiple relevant wikis (meta origination). I can't see the image to evaluate it though.
@Adamant1: A comment starting with "No offense" is bound to be offensive... Some Wikimedians choose to reveal some details about themselves on their user pages like the languages they speak, their interests, their connection to the wider world and a photo. They may even upload an ownwork to Commons. Others lurk in the shadows. I don't know of a place where editors suggest improvements on other's user pages (in a tactful way), but this isn't it the place (and it wasn't even remotely tactful). @Commander Keane: I don't have a problem with any of that in isolation. Any time someone has sentences like "Google Crowdsource Influencer, Disciple, Software developer and AI enthusiast exploring AI applications in healthcare promotion" on their user page and then links to their email and social media accounts, including LinkedIn, it reeks of self promotion. And what does their Instagram profile say "Public figure"? Yeah, that's totally not self promotion at all. There's plenty of people on here who do this as part of their profession but don't have user pages like yours or link to their social media. La personne qui l'a téléchargée l'a placée dans le domaine public mais je ne suis pas sur qu'il s'agisse de l'auteur. Et pourquoi la placer dans le domaine public si le nom du photographe (un photographe professionnel apparemment) est visible dessus ? C'est la photo de profil instagram de Roman Doduik donc beaucoup de gens peuvent l'avoir vue et téléchargée ici.

I have no reason to question this. It's a real person who works for a small but niche and apparently reliable newspaper/blog. The images don't seem to have been taken from any video, and the author claims to be a correspondent in Rome, so a quick run would be enough to reach the square where the photo was taken. The rationale behind the speedy deletion, done by you, already shows that whoever wrote it had no idea what they were doing, and apparently you repeated that lack of understanding by again claiming it was from a video. This photo was taken during a performance at the "Center for Drama and Directing". (original name: Центр драматургии и режиссуры). The theatre's official website states that photography and video recording are prohibited: In order to ensure the protection of copyright and other related rights, photography, film, video, television shooting, and any type of audio recording of performances or their fragments without special permission from the theater administration are prohibited. (original link name on web-page: "Правила посещения театра") (original text: "В целях обеспечения охраны авторских и иных смежных прав фото-, кино-, видео-, телесъёмка, любые виды аудиозаписи спектаклей или их фрагментов без специального разрешения администрации театра запрещены."). I am very sorry @Yann. I think you both are great assets to the project as I wrote at ANU. However this dispute has gotten worse and worse and that block you imposed on Adamant was totally off. @Bedivere: I believe that Adamant should be indefinitely blocked. This discussion has clearly demonstrated that he is not able to discuss peaceful with many other contributors, not just me. One bad admin action, especially one that’s been quickly walked back, does not warrant a block. Desysop, maybe, if the community feels trust is broken. But a block? That’s an extreme overreach. We don’t block admins for making bad calls in good faith. Frankly, this looks more like punitive posturing than sound judgment. As I said on ANU this is not meant to be punitive but rather to help Yann cool off, and I do trust them as an admin. Sorry, but this looks ridiculous to me. We have 178 admins (OK, many are not active, but still). Can't we find at least one who is not involved? Hi, I'd like to say that the picture of the slovenian politician Zmago Jelinčič Plemeniti was unfairly removed, since it was his official portrait from the National Assembly and the picture is in in public domain and intended to use without copyright problems.
