Novial wiki book
Hi,
thanks for showing me how to make the word a link to the vocab list. When I get time I'll probably use it extensively. Novialiste 21:57, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
Pictures
I saw your lafamilia.png picture on the Lingua Franca Nova wikibook. Check out the pictures used on such pages as Spanish/Vocabulary/People and German/Appendices/Vocabulary/People. You may want to work this into a lesson! Cilantrohead (talk) 04:35, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks
I don't know how many other want to say this, but I really appreciate your effort in Salute, Jonathan. I've always been interested in Interlingue after picking up a few words from Tatoeba, and this ia a really fun and easy way to learn the language.
Thank you

- Glad you like it! It's been a blast and I love seeing people encounter it for the first time. Also feel free to drop by the Discord server (or Facebook group and some other places) if you feel like practicing it:

Salute, Jonathan!/Single page
Hi, I noticed in the single page version of your book you just copy the text from all the chapters. This is an inefficient way to do things. Even though it seems as if you have finished or are close to finishing, I suggest to use a dynamically updating way since that way if someone edits one of them, he won’t have to repeat the same edits in the single page version as well. If you want a static version, you can create a pdf. @Mbrickn: has created [[Salute, Jonathan!/Printable version}} which will update automatically when changes are made. You might want to make the single page version a redirect to the printable version which is also better suited for conversion of pdf. -Gifnk dlm 2020 From Middle English Wikipedia 📜📖💻 (talk) 10:32, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
- I went ahead and do that. Don’t worry, I have not deleted the single page that you created. I did turn it to a redirect to the printable version but this can easily be reverted. After you finish the grammar section, I will gladly also make a pdf version. -Gifnk dlm 2020 From Middle English Wikipedia 📜📖💻 (talk) 21:17, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
- Awesome, thanks! I noticed recently that the pdf creator function was broken and just assumed that I'd have to do it manually. Yes, the book is largely done for now (won't be touching the text because I recorded the whole thing) but I will be adding more grammar notes and whatnot that doesn't touch the original dialogue so the automatic updates will be very nice to have. - Great to know that you appreciate the edits! The pdf creator for multiple pages is broken and from what I understand there’s no intention in fixing it, however in the printable version you can go to the printable version, and click “Download as pdf” - that creator isn’t broken. The you upload this pdf to commons. See Programming in LOLGraphics 3.4, Proto-Turkic, and Zine Making. P.s. you can ping users by typing

Also, why is the book status 100% if you haven’t finished it yet? Please consider changing it to status 75%. -Gifnk dlm 2020 From Middle English Wikipedia 📜📖💻 (talk) 15:17, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- I probably should have been clearer above: it's definitely done, I just haven't excluded the idea of an expansion later on. Lingua Latina per se Illustrata has those additional dialogues and question and answer parts that are recorded too, and I might do something like that one day but as it stands I consider it complete. - OK I see. Makes sense. -Gifnk dlm 2020 From Middle English Wikipedia 📜📖💻 (talk) 07:22, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
