Share your experience and feedback as a Wikimedian in this global survey
Hello! The Wikimedia Foundation is asking for your feedback in a survey. We want to know how well we are supporting your work on and off wiki, and how we can change or improve things in the future.[1] The opinions you share will directly affect the current and future work of the Wikimedia Foundation. You have been randomly selected to take this survey as we would like to hear from your Wikimedia community. To say thank you for your time, we are giving away 20 Wikimedia T-shirts to randomly selected people who take the survey.[2] The survey is available in various languages and will take between 20 and 40 minutes.
You can find more information about this project. This survey is hosted by a third-party service and governed by this privacy statement. Please visit our frequently asked questions page to find more information about this survey. If you need additional help, or if you wish to opt-out of future communications about this survey, send an email to surveys@wikimedia.org.

Sites using MediaWiki/en revisions
Hi there, I noticed you reverted my addition of mothermother.miraheze.org on Sites using MediaWiki/en. It seems to load for me fine on Firefox (mobile/PC), Chrome (mobile/PC), Edge, and Opera.
Additionally, wikifur.com loads for me as well, at least on Firefox on PC. FireDragons52 (talk) 22:41, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hello. I just restored wikifur, which now works for me too, but mothermother still errors with SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP. Being hosted on Miraheze I'm pretty sure it's based on MW, but unreachable sites shouldn't be added... Tactica (talk) 23:30, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
- The problem is you need the non-WWW version of the site: https://www.mothermother.miraheze.org fails, https://mothermother.miraheze.org works. That aside, is it really a good idea to list individual wikis in farms there? My inclination is no, and that just listing Miraheze in pages like hosting services suffices. * Pppery * it has begun 01:10, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the pointer, I just re-added the site. Whether individual Miraheze wikis should be listed, I'm afraid is not my call to make.
- While I have your attention, and on the subject of non-working sites and the usefulness of the site list, it has been suggested to drop the list altogether and replace it with a link to Wikiapiary somewhere, however it's been like years since I could reach that site. Does it work for you? Tactica (talk) 01:27, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- Thank both of you for your replies, I hadn't realized I accidentally included the www part.
- As for the Miraheze topic, I only added it since a few other Miraheze wikis were listed, although if a consensus of sorts is reached that they don't qualify then that's fine with me.
- WikiApiary appears to be going through some sort of problem? The account creation page says "The system administrator who locked it offered this explanation: We're moving homes".
- It appears this has been an ongoing issue for nearly two years with the last edit being on May 20, 2023. with discussions going back as far as September 2023 (also being the most recent discussion as the extension has been disabled). The last status update seems to be from December 2023, saying the site will be rebuilt from scratch. FireDragons52 (talk) 01:44, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, bad timing there, just as I pressed send on this I found a slightly newer discussion which links to a new (bare bones) WikiApiary site. FireDragons52 (talk) 01:46, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- Interesting. I wasn't aware of the fact that it was officially non-operational and I never tried to look up WikiApiary... So, I presume the user-managed lists will remain for the time being. Tactica (talk) 02:18, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
