Files from iNaturalist: ORCID-ID

Hi @DaxServer iNat users have the option to save their ORCID ID in their account. In this case, it will be transferred as "Recorded by ID" when exporting data to GBIF. You can find it in this dataset. I think the ORCID ID can also be queried via the API. ChristianSW (talk) 14:31, 18 May 2025 (UTC)

More available geodata datasets of NRW (huge amount)

Hi!

I found out that there are many more digital orthophotos that may be transferred to Commons. One example are the digital orthphotos with RGB channels. Their advantage is that they are already available as TIF files. This map offers a download section where the license of the RGB orthophotos is "Datenlizenz Deutschland – Zero – Version 2.0" (Template:Data license Germany-Zero-2.0).

I have created the download list of 35,860 items. I can send you the plain text file per E-Mail or so (the browser would freeze when displaying the whole text).

One huge advantage is that these files can get a generated thumbnail on Commons.
