This template adds a information box stating that this simple graph/chart could be converted to a Wikichart and adds the file page to category Category:Images which should use wikicharts.

The template automatically sets the following categories: Category:Images which should use wikicharts

This template should not be used for:

  • images of charts or graphs with complex formatting that cannot be converted into wikicharts
  • images of charts or graphs that are of historical interest (e.g. from an original publication)

The template takes no parameters.

TemplateData

At Wikimedia Commons, it is recommended to use {{TemplateBox}} with either ‎useTemplateData=1 or ‎useTemplateData=only on the ‎/doc subpage and transcluding it with {{Documentation}} into the template. ‎<nowiki>-tags can be wrapped around the arguments, if required, to avoid templates being expanded.
