English: Hebrew point segol (U+05B6), or segolta (in Ashkenazi naming). Used to mark the vowel /e̞/ in modern Hebrew, or /a/ in the Yemenite vocalisation, or the long vowel /ɛː/ in the Tiberian vocalisation. Combines below a base letter as three dots: two horizontal dots, like for the Hebrew point tsere (U+05B5), and an additional dot below, like for the Hebrew point hiriq (U+05B4). Do not confuse with Hebrew accent segol' (U+0592), used as a cantillation mark.
