Hello, Geoffroi. I declined your speedy deletion request on Category:Books by Charlotte Riddell. I reinstated the category and populated it. If everything in the category is books, I believe that "Books by" is the appropriate category name. Please let me know if you know of any policy or guideline that disagrees with that. • @Auntof6: Category:Works by writers from England, Category:Works by writers from the United States, Category:Works by writers from England - These cats have 200+ subcats for writers, including major authors like Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, William Makepeace Thackeray, etc. I'm trying to get novelists categories together. Having books and works categories means some writers are in one and some in the other.

• There are millions of uncategorized books from Internet archive, and lots of badly categorized books. I'm just trying to get them organized. Geoffroi 17:51, 1 April 2025 (UTC)

About the Wikidata Infobox

Hello, I was about make a reply, but the post was gone. Just want to let you know, I have fixed the Wikidata Infobox. The issue was you need to specify qid=Q3522169, not just Q3522169, in the Wikidata Infobox template for it to work. Alternatively, you can just add the Commons category directly in the Wikidata item to connect it. Thanks. Tvpuppy (talk) 17:29, 8 June 2025 (UTC)

Hi Geoffroi, you're now a filemover. When moving files please respect the following advice:

• Use the CommonsDelinker link in the {{Rename}} template to order a bot to replace all ocurrences of the old title with the new one. Or, if there was no rename-request, please use the Move & Replace-tab.
• Please leave a redirect behind unless you have a valid reason not to do so. Other projects, including those using InstantCommons, might be using the file even though they don't show up in the global usage. Deleting the redirects would break their file references. Please see this section of the file rename guideline for more information.
• Please know and follow the file rename guidelines.
