File:Night of the Living Dead (1968).webm

While this film are in public domain, this film edition are probably from Image Ten's 4K restoration of the public domain film Night of the Living Dead downscaling to 1080p, and the Image Ten's 4K restoration are granted registration in part because of "digitally remastered audio and video", "overall film stabilization", and other editing. (PA0002026041). We cannot keep this file per COM:PCP. 6D (talk) 14:55, 13 October 2025 (UTC)

  •  Keep First, what's the basis for saying that this is based on that 4K restoration? Second, this file has been here for years; even if this version was copyvio, the solution would be restoration of an older version, not deletion. Lethargilistic (talk) 17:55, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
  •  Keep At the very most, if there is a reasonable doubt as to the provenance of the 1080p versions, they could be deleted. But the oldest versions of these files predate the 4K remaster, and thus are very clearly not based on it.  Chris Woodrich (talk) 20:48, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
  •  Keep "Probably" is not "significant doubt". --RAN (talk) 00:08, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
