Bulle d'or

Hi Lotje. I have reverted the interwiki link you added to File:Romain portant la Bulle dor au Col (Leplat, Recueil des marbres antiques, pl 113).jpg. The bulla on that statue is an amulet that was worn by Roman boys before adulthood (see Bulla (amulet) or Bulla (pendentif)). It has no relationship to the gold seal affixed to the decrees of Byzantine emperors and other monarchs in the Middle Ages (see Golden bull or Bulle d'or). Choliamb (talk) 13:36, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
