Hi KleinerChess! I edited Chess Opening Theory/1. e4/1...c5/2. Nf3/2...Nc6/3. a3 and removed the sentence about Magnus Carlsen to keep the page short and straight to the point. I hope that's OK with you. Thanks for improving this Wikibook! Dexxor (discusscontribs) 17:01, 15 December 2024 (UTC)

Question

How do you create a page in chess opening theory, for exemple if i want to create 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 e6 3. c4 (For Example) how do i do it?

@KleinerChess: Go to this page (then click "Skip intro") or this page to convert moves "1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 e6 3. c4" into a Wikibooks link: Chess Opening Theory/1. e4/1...c5/2. Nf3/2...e6/3. c4.
Alternatively, you can enter your moves on https://lichess.org/analysis, and click on "Read more on WikiBooks" in the left sidebar (this only works if Wikibooks already has a page on the position). But you can always go to the parent position on Wikibooks, edit the page to insert a link using [[/3. c4|c4]], preview the page, and click on the red link you just inserted.
