Where does the TI 86 fit in?

Where does the TI-86 fit into this? All the info about applicability to different versions skip any mention of the TI-86 which is confusing. -Brentt 75.83.67.181 (talk) 19:35, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Most Likely it's due to the fact that the TI-86 isn't as popular as the TI-83/84 and the TI-89. I don't know anything about the TI-86, but I would assume that they are completely different. --Jimmyatic (talk) 00:22, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Removed "old" notice

Previously, there was a notice at the top of this page stating, "This is the old discussion page, about the old Programming:TI-Basic. All further edits/talks should be made at the new TI-Basic 84 Programming." However, this book has more information than TI-Basic 84 Programming. Either the information was incompletely moved, or people have continued to edit this book. Both projects are not very active. I believe this book should continue to be developed for two reasons. First, the name TI-84 Basic Programming is too specific. The TI-84 uses the TI Basic Z80 version of the language, as well as the TI-83. I do acknowledge, however, that the name "TI-Basic 84" will catch more hits versus TI Basic Z80 on a list. However, the search suggestions only reluctantly list the TI-Basic 84 project,. Second, and as I mentioned before, the TI Basic Z80 project has more information. In any case, I have added "see also" links to both pages, to ensure readers briefly examine both resources. I do think that the cover page of the TI-Basic 84 project looks nicer and is more organized. Good night. AllenZh (discusscontribs) 02:50, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
