Talk:Software Development with Continuous Integration

I am still wrestling with an outline. Here is what I am thinking:

  1. Introduction: Continuous Integration for Software Medical Devices
  2. Why Continuous Integration?
  3. Software Medical Devices
  4. Version Control
  5. Validation
    1. Unit Test Framework for Acceptance Tests
    2. Roles (Developers/QA)
    3. Keep the Tests Green
    4. Keep the Tests Current
  6. Practical Application of Agile
    1. Resistance to Agile
    2. The Value of Agile
    3. Requirements
    4. Software Design Specification
    5. Traceability Matrix
    6. Peer Reviews
  7. DHF

I suggest moving Introduction to Software Engineering/Tools/Continuous Integration out of the "Introduction to Software Engineering" book and somewhere into this "Software Development with Continuous Integration" book, as previously suggested. While continuous integration is important enough that every programmer should know about it, perhaps a quick overview in the "introduction" book will be adequate, linking to the details in this book. --DavidCary (discusscontribs) 14:09, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
