I removed the part about pressing down with a spatula. I've never done this before in my life, and I even make grilled cheese sandwiches using frozen bread. It is not necessary to press down. Just flip it carefully using your free hand to hold the top piece of bread. The instruction about the spatula just complicated the recipe unecessarily. dave 09:13, 7 Oct 2003 (UTC)
