Sicilian with 2...e6
This is an older continuation of the Sicilian. Black plays 2...e6, opening up the bishop and preparing d5 and recapture with a pawn. This can transpose into many other Sicilian lines with d6 and/or Nc6.
Many variations from this position include the Kan, Scheveningen, and Taimanov.
