The Syntax highlighting extensions/id category contains articles on extensions that color-code the syntax of structured languages such as PHP, XML, JavaScript, Java, and so forth. This presents the source code in a more readable form, for example with colored keywords, comments and variable names. Extensions may offer support for syntax highlighting in view mode, edit mode or both.
