The MagicNoCache extension creates a new magic word __NOCACHE__ and disables the cache for any page in which it finds it. Thus, it ensures that specific pages never get cached as they get updated frequently.

Installation

• Download and move the extracted MagicNoCache folder to your extensions/ directory.
  Developers and code contributors should install the extension from Git instead, using:cd extensions/
git clone https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/mediawiki/extensions/MagicNoCache
• Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:

  wfLoadExtension( 'MagicNoCache' );
  

• Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
