Requesting more information on how this extension works.
Hello, I'm looking for more information on this extension. There is a banner for Today's Article For Improvement that is currently populated using a bot and a lot of "template" style pages with less than optimal code that could greatly be simplified if I could use a Special:Random/Category:This weeks TAFIs to pick a random article from a category for the week. The only "extra" that I would ask is that the page would be picked on page load instead of clicking on the link so that the link when using the "piping trick" would show the name of the article it was going to take you to. Can this be done? Technical 13 (talk) 11:40, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
Multiple categories
Would it be possible to have multiple categories instead of just one at a time? 90.230.69.179 15:42, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
Return content
Is there a way to use this extension to include random content from a category on another page, not just link to one? 109.186.34.72 (talk) 06:54, 15 June 2024 (UTC)
