How do I make it rotate articles without editing the php file
How can I make it change to a new article every day without having to edit the PHP file. For example:
I want to display a random article from a collection of articles with the same category, but I don't want to have to edit this php file just to add new article names. I want the new article to change at midnight every day.
Is there a way to do this without a lot of case statements?

- I have the same question. It would be great if e.g. admins could edit the content of a special page to be created and to be checked by the extension, like MediaWiki:DailyFeaturedPage - this would make changes more comfortable for contributors. Maybe the page content could even be just simple article links, without the PHP language keywords (like "case" and "break").
- I'd like to e.g. realize a "Featured Person of the Day" rotation depending on the birthday of that person. Ulf Dunkel (talk) 08:45, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
