The PanicButton extension provides a special page that allows specified users to shut off editing permissions for anonymous users..

Installation

• Download and place the file(s) in a directory called PanicButton in your extensions/ folder.
• Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:

  require_once "$IP/extensions/PanicButton/PanicButton.php";
  

• Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.Category:Extensions not using extension registration
