QICbot is the Quality images candidates maintenance bot.

Its duties are:

Going over all promotions and declined images haven't been commented on for more than 2 days and nominations that have not been commented on for 8 days
Moving them to the appropriate archive page
In case of promotions
- Tag the image page with {{QualityImage}}
- Notify the nominator
- Add the image to commons:Commons:Quality images/Recently promoted (from where laborous contributors tag the images with the QI Helper)
- Sorting tagged images from Recently promoted into the QI galleries, and updating the preview galleries on commons:COM:QI
Tag images unassessed after 15 days with commons:Category:Unassessed QI candidates
