Is there any documentation on how to use this extension?

How do you set up your own landing page?
Hello, I have added a page name to $wgArticleCreationLandingPage but whenever basic users go to create new pages it doesn't jump to the landing page. Is there step by step instructions on how to set up the landing page?
I have look at this page Article Creation Workflow/Design - MediaWiki and it didn't help with setting it up and getting red links and such to jump to the landing.
