How to upload a specific page from a PDF / DJVU on archive.org?

If you want to upload a specific page from a PDF / DJVU file on archive.org, follow the following steps. (You do not need to download the entire file or convert the document to images by yourself, because for each PDF / DJVU, a ZIP file containing individual pages in picture format is available.)

  1. Under "DOWNLOAD OPTIONS", click "SHOW ALL".
  2. Find the ZIP file you need (usually its filename ends with "jp2.zip"), and click "View Contents".
  3. Find the page you want. Clicking jp2 lets you download it in jp2 format. Clicking jpg opens it in jpg format, which you can also download to your device.
  4. Special:UploadWizard, upload on Commons.

If the PDF/DJVU in question is free license (PD or the like), you can consider to upload the PDF/DJVU to Commons first (if it haven't), possibly with IA Upload tool, then proceed to easily upload the page within using CropTool
