Area charts

See Category:Area charts. An area chart displays quantitative data graphically. It is based on the line chart. A line chart is a type of graph, created by connecting a series of data points together with a line. In an area chart the area between axis and line are commonly emphasized with colors, textures and hatchings. This makes it similar to a bar chart.
