Description

The bot is written in Perl and based on the MediaWiki::Bot-Module. It runs continuously automatically or manually assisted at specified intervals, depending on tasks (see below). It normally does not more than one edit per minute on the same task.

Tasks

Austrian Cultural Heritage Monuments project (Request)

  • Update ID and Coordinate templates and Categories on files and categories of Austrian Cultural Heritage Monuments based on monument tables taken from dewiki.
  • Update Austrian Cultural Heritage Monuments project progress overview images.

Deletion request archiving (Request)

Bot archives closed deletion request from daily summary pages at every full hour, if it expects that at least 10 request will be archived.

It also closes deletion requests for files which are already deleted, if no comments were made on the deletion requests. (Request)

Tagging files uploaded with no license and with an external source as copyvio (Discussion)

Add FlickR photographs_by category (Request)

Gather files from specific FlickR users into the appropriate photographs_by category. Affected FlickR users to be determined by manual request:

Tagging files with {{OTRS received}}, i.e. {{subst:OR|TICKETNUMBER}} (Request)

  • For all open OTRS permissions tickets where the affected files names are machine readable.
