Hecho con Inkscape. Cada una de las partes del mapa están en una capa diferente y protegida, de modo que pueda ser desprotegida y editada/desplazada/ocultada separadamente cuando es abierto con Inkscape. Así todas las regiones semejantes, como las ciudades imperiales, los estados eclesiásticos, etc. están agrupadas juntas para que sus colores puedan ser modificados fácilmente si fuera necesario. Se usan los esquemas de colores de WikiProject Maps y el programa libre Color Brewer.
