Summary

The 1905 Pittsburgh Panthers football team. Now known as the University of Pittsburgh, the school was then called the Western University of Pennsylvania. Then team captain Joe Thompson is in the center of the front row. Following an undefeated season in 1904, Arthur Mosse coached the 1905 team to a 10-2 record that outscored opponents 405-36.
