Commons talk:Determining if U.S. coins are free to use
List
It might be wise to make a sub-page that lists all copyrighted coins and when their copyright © will expire and links to any deletion requests concerning each individual design. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 22:24, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Donald Trung: See User:Mysterymanblue/U.S. Coins with known copyright statuses. We won't know when the coins' copyrights will expire until the designers of the coins die, so we can't even list that. Mysterymanblue 23:26, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- P.S.: I made this in my user namespace because I am unsure how proper it would be to put it in the Commons namespace. But if there is agreement that it can/should be moved, that is ok too. Mysterymanblue 23:29, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
Burwell and Burwell
This page should note that photographs of U.S. coinage taken by Burwell and Burwell are not freely usable; see Commons:Deletion requests/File:2019 Apollo 11 50th Anniversary 5oz Dollar Reverse.jpg Mysterymanblue 17:59, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
