- I assume he had this picture in mind which is very nice but I prefer a diagonal view where you can see the wings and the shape of the animal much better. I considered it very well before nominating this picture. By the way - the sideview was reverted to the diagonal view by an enthologist at german wikipedia which I think was the right decission. --Richard Bartz (talk) 18:50, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I saw this FP and liked it, but I agree with Richard that while FP image is of a better quality, the nominated image is better as VI.--Mbz1 (talk) 18:15, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well, that is not my opinion. Except for the wing venation, the FP is a clearer depiction of this amazing fly, imo -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 23:40, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
