Description
English: The "Cankamana" or otherwise known as the "Chakramara Sthal" (Cloister Walk) inside the Mahabodhi Temple Complex is the path where Lord Buddha walked during the third week after his Enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. The Buddha walked up and down in Meditation here. The old broken lotus sculpture besides the temple on the pathway indicate the places where the lord's feet rested while walking.
