Monumental brass in St Mary's Church, Elsing, Norfolk, of Ralph Stafford, 2nd Baron Stafford (1301-1372) (after 1351 1st w:Earl of Stafford), as one of the 8 mourners surrounding the monumental brass of Sir w:Hugh Hastings I (c.1310–1347) of Elsing. On his tunic and shield he displays the arms of Stafford: Or, a chevron gules.

The surviving monumental brass on the ledger stone in St Mary's Church, Elsing, Norfolk, of Sir w:Hugh Hastings I (c.1310–1347), is "one of the most celebrated of all English brasses". Hugh is portrayed as a knight dressed in full armour, surrounded by eight smaller figures representing "mourners", being men under whom Hugh had served, including King Edward III and many of the greatest warriors and noblemen in the kingdom, each displaying his own coat of arms, amongst whom are Henry of Grosmont, Earl of Derby (1310-1361), w:Laurence Hastings, 1st Earl of Pembroke (1319-1348), w:Guy de Beauchamp, 10th Earl of Warwick,[1] w:Thomas de Beauchamp, 11th Earl of Warwick (1313-1369), Henry Plantagenet, 3rd Earl of Lancaster and Leicester (c.1281-1345), w:Roger Grey, 1st Baron Grey of Ruthin (c.1298-1353), Amauri de St Amand, 2nd Baron Amand (1315–1381) and Ralph Stafford, 2nd Baron Stafford (1301-1372) (after 1351 1st w:Earl of Stafford).[2]
