Summary
| Description |
English: Mark for the Wikimedia accessibility initiative.
The mark includes a stylized human stick figure, overlaid on a circle, similar to da Vinci’s Vetruvian man. It is freely inspired by Wikimedia official logo and UN Accessibility logo. The body is dark red, shaped like a K rotated 90 degrees right, arms spread wide. The head hands and feet are represented by simple blue circles. The semi circle underneath is green. The red, blue and green colors of Wikimedia projects were chosen as representing the 3 colors of light. The logo keeps UN symbolism with a symmetrical figure connected to represent a harmony between humans in society, where open arms represents inclusion for people of all abilities, everywhere. And as the UN logo, it aims to symbolize hope and equal access for all, including accessibility of information, services, communication technologies, as well as physical access. |
