English: Example of UV mapping using a still of Image:PIA02863_-_Jupiter_surface_motion_animation.gif and Image:06pd2058.jpg. For the triangle, three UV coördinates were specified for the vertices and the UV coördinates for the sphere were calculated using spherical mapping.
