English: This data visualisation shows how the collection of the Met (Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York) is divided into time and departments. The museum provides select datasets of information on more than 470,000 artworks in its Collection. These artworks are organised into 14 collection areas, and each of them covers different historical periods.
