So you keep knitting round and round. Now you can start to see the Möbius pattern - the twist is quite obvious. You're actually knitting outwards, since a Möbius band has only one side and only one edge, you're knitting that edge first one side of the cast-on row, and then the other side. It's really weird to get your head around, but trust me - it works!
