Summary

Description
English: A disk is divided into sixteen pie pieces and unrolled along the circumference. The resulting row of spikes is then split in two, one half is rotated and placed interlocking with the other half. Below, another disk is unrolled into a continuous gradient, simulating infinitesimal spikes. It is similarly split, rotated, and merged with the other half.
