English: En el Ecuador existen 14 nacionalidades y 18 pueblos, "algunos de ellos con lenguas propias". De estas, once nacionalidades y pueblos están en zonas fronterizas y siete son transfronterizas: Pasto, Shuar, Achuar, Shiwiar, Andwa, Siekopa’i, Sápara y Kichwas, en la región amazónica.
Cada uno de estos grupos tienen sus propias costumbres, cultura y vestimenta que los caracterizan
