Installation

Décontextualisant l’allégorie de la caverne de Platon, cette installation transforme les couloirs familiers du sous-terrain de Montréal en un univers caverneux fantastique. Animée par les silhouettes des passants se mélangeant aux ombres projetées sur la toile de papier géante, l’œuvre explore la relation entre les phénomènes métaphoriques et notre perception de la ville souterraine.

Les tectoniques de Platon offrent une expérience interactive et invitent les participants à s’interroger sur la notion d’enracinement – présentée ici comme possédant de multiples facettes et changeant constamment d’environnement.
