| Description | L'Ancresse Bay. A view of the superb sandy bay at L'Ancresse. There is a strong correlation between granite outcrop and wide, white sands due to the way that the granite weathers and releases grains of pure quartz. The Martello Tower can be seen at the left of the image. |
