Deutsch: Hauchbild, Deutschland, Ende 19. Jahrhundert, rechteckig, vermutlich farbige bedruckte Gelatine (zu früheren Zeiten wurden derartige Bilder aus der Schwimmblase des Fisches Hausen hergestellt), rollt sich auf der Handfläche oder beim Anhauchen durch die Körperwärme ein, Hintergrund rot, Motiv: Katze, Golddruck. Als Belohnung für Schulkinder benutzt. English: Gelatine picture, Germany, end of 19th century, rectangular, probably coloured and printed gelatine (in earlier times such pictures were made of the swim bladder of beluga), body heat makes it roll up when put on palm or breathed upon, showing a cat, background red, golden print. Used to reward school children. |
