English: In Sanatan, after Navratri, girls are worshiped on Ashtami and Navami Tithi. The fast is celebrated by worshiping the girl child. On this day girls are called home and worshiped and served food. It is believed that Navratri worship is considered complete only after the worship of the girl child. On this day 9 forms of Maa Durga are called home in the form of girls. Being pleased with the devotees, Maa Durga blesses them.
हिन्दी: सनातन धर्म में नवरात्रि का बाद अष्टमी और नवमी तिथि के दिन कन्या पूजन की जाती है. व्रत का पारण कन्या पूजन से होता है. इस दिन कन्याओं को घर बुलाकर उनका पूजन किया जाता है और भोजन करवाया जाता है. मान्यता है कि कन्या पूजन के बाद ही नवरात्रि की पूजा पूर्ण मानी जाती है. इस दिन मां दुर्गा के 9 स्वरूपों को कन्या के रूप में घर बुलाया जाता है. भक्तों से प्रसन्न होकर मां दुर्गा आर्शीवाद देती हैं।
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ: ਸਨਾਤਨ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ, ਨਵਰਾਤਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਅਸ਼ਟਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਵਮੀ ਤਿਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਬਾਲੜੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਰਤ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਬੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਪੂਜਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੱਚੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਨਵਰਾਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਮੰਨੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਮਾਂ ਦੁਰਗਾ ਦੇ 9 ਰੂਪ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ 'ਚ ਘਰ ਬੁਲਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਭਗਤਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਮਾਂ ਦੁਰਗਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। |
