English: Climatable in an interactive installation by Tomi Knuutila. It has 4 user interaction points, each related to one climate change -related dataset. The user selects a year with a physical linear slides mounted inside the table, and that year's data set's current value changes the animation, the graphics and the sound. 4 layers of data can be used simultaneously, creating an abstract but emotional experience of climate change values changing over time, getting more drastic as the latest years are reached. This image depicts the work waiting for users in an exhibition in 2018. |
