La broderie d'or a atteint son apogée à Boukhara au 19ème siècle. Les brodeurs d'or travaillaient essentiellement pour l'Emir et son entourage. Depuis l'Indépendance, cet art de la broderie par exemple sur manteau (Chapan) pour homme ou femme, comme le montre la photo, est à nouveau pratiqué. |
