En el Armorial redactado por c. Heinen, llamado Gelre, la (...) como cimera del yelmo medio grifo de oro. La figura del Grifo llegó a través de Navarra y Aragón, y ya se usaba a mediados del s. XIV. [En dicho armorial se asigna el escudo con la cimera del Grifo a Enrique II de Castilla]. |
