Summary
Description |
My friend Oliver posted a link to a new feature which I hadn't noticed before: A new function in Photoshop / Lightroom called DEHAZE. The results in the video looked pretty amazing, so I wanted to give it a quick try AND HOLY SHITBALLS THE RESULTS ARE JUST NUTS!!! In order to make your own judgement I uploaded the edited original and then the dehazed version. Can you see the difference?! Absolutely stunning. I think the software analyses the least-contrast parts of the image and then pushes them back into the same contrast area that the rest of the image is in. STUNNING! This was a quick and dirty batch, I didn't really put much effort in it, just wanted to see a variety of results. The unhazed image has the exact same settings applied as the dehazed! I didn't touch the settings at all! All as a batch export in Lightroom CC. I have to go through my whole photo library and see what good old China-smog shots I can save now thanks to this great feature... |
