English: Time-course of a typical migration experiment on photoactivatable nanopatterned substrate. Movie shows HeLa cells seeded on the photopatterned nanopatterned surface with a 150-μm size circular spot and incubated for 9 h. Starting point is the time just after the cells were released from their confinement by irradiating the surrounding regions. Movie is shown in ×3000 speed. Duration 10 h; scale bar, 100 μm.
