File:1900-10-20 Ansichtskarte No. 728 Na - warte Krause Klemens von Ketteler Peking SMS Taku Matrosen schlagen Chinesen Kaiserlich Deutsche Marine-Schiffspost No. 70, Bildseite.jpg

Summary

Description

Infanterieregiment 6.

English: The joys of the Little Man, "to his heart's content" to finally be allowed to "beat"; here visualized as a multi-color lithograph number 728 under the title

Well - wait Krause!

In the foreground are three handsome young sailors of the Imperial German Navy in their white sailor suits, during the exercise of physical violence against the - weakened and obviously ranked among them - native Chinese. The right of the three men kills the held Chinese "placed over his knee" and visibly with pleasure like a small child with the cane.

In the background, numerous Chinese are trying to escape our robust boys by running away behind a goal.

The handwritten on the 20th. October 1900 dated and with

Taku

Located "Postcard" sent Hans Ströbert with greetings from his comrades from the 6th Infantry Regiment 6. Company to the named on the other side

Miss Elsa Käferlein

To Schwabach in Bavaria not least out of Display. Because:

... We are here in front of Kukar (?), it is very cozy and harmless ...
