File:"Yankiana Rag", by Melville J. Gideon (1908).oga
Summary
Description |
English: "Oh! That Yankiana Rag" was a popular Broadway song recorded on Victor Records by Billy Murray in 1909. This is the instrumental version of the song, which uses a somewhat different arrangement. It was written by Melville Gideon (1884-1933), a New York based composer, performer and music director who wrote a number of songs for Broadway shows. This rag was published by Maurice Shapiro in New York City in 1908. This is a reproduction of the original score. Adjusted measures 12 & 22 in the right-hand to make better sense with note durations; added a bass clef to measure 80. |
