English: Munich Ostbahnhof is a good location to stay if visiting the Munich Trade Fair as it has excellent public transport links. It also has a lot of interesting movements including Eurocargo Class 66 and DB Cargo Ludmilla locos on freights. And then every night at 20.52 the EuroNight Train 463 departs from here for Salzburg, Budapest and Zagreb behind a pair of veritable DB Class 218 (V160 family) diesel-hydraulic locos fitted with MTU V12 engines and Voith transmissions. With a heavy train of sleeping & restaurant cars, the pair have some work to do to get it moving.
