Fictional flag. Maybe original research and out of scope. Saimmx (talk) 05:51, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
Keep, obviously, as it is in use. Now, can we finally have the ability to open DRs restricted to autopatrolled users and maybe waste less time with these frivolous DRs? -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 06:59, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- The COM:INUSE said: "A file that is in use on any other Wikimedia Foundation project ... unless it is used only in the following places: User pages.."
- There are only two pages used the file, all of them are User pages. I don't think my DR is "frivolous" or "silly" per COM:INUSE unless I misread the guideline. Saimmx (talk) 08:45, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
Delete. Not in use in any content pages, and I don't believe this custom flag is actually used to represent the Japanese language. It appears to be a custom creation.- As an aside: using flags to represent languages is best avoided in general. National flags represent countries, not languages. There are many languages which aren't uniquely associated with any single country, e.g. English is spoken as the primary language in dozens of countries, and India has over four hundred official languages (English among them).
