Reasons why I made these files is that the original files doesn't allow people to overwrite the file and replace the image with a new one, so I have no choice but to upload it separately and replace the original file with a new one. Hoguert (talk) 20:16, 12 February 2025 (UTC)

The lack of commercial FoP for statues in the U.S. doesn't tell us who the sculptor is or when the sculpture was completed. If I were you, I wouldn't nominate photos of sculptures that look plausibly public domain unless you know who the sculptor was and when they died. I have looked through different s it es about this sculpture, but no information given. I further looked into a travel guide, and shows that some sculptures are quite modern (in the 1970s), so I think this sculpture could still be copyrighted. --A1Cafel (talk) 06:54, 12 February 2025 (UTC)

Keep, für deutsche Wappen gilt eigentlich immer Template:PD-GermanGov. Nur kam bisher niemand auf die Idee, die passende Lizenz zu setzen. Mit File:DEU Biburg (Alling) COA.jpg haben wir aber ein ebensolches auf Commons. Die Verwendung findet nur in deWP und auf Wikidata statt. Das hier wäre besser als die jpg-Datei.
